Yes.

The EQ works...but in a very bizzare way that just does not match what you see on screen.

HI all,
Haven't posted here for ages, 'cause....well, I haven't needed to....until today!
A while ago when CW had those specials on I purchased the Mixer pack that comes with the Dynamic Mixer & the STM 2448. Everything has been going fine since then (BTW this is used on a 3 x DSP Luna II card). I ...

For a while I was running 3 screens...2 on a Matrox G400max(32mb)AGP, and the third was runing on a cheap TNTII PCI video card, it actually worked quite well. (And it was on my old PC, a lowly P3 1gig). The only reason I stopped using it was that all 3 monitors are CRT, and the 3rd one just took up ...

Hi Fernando,
I think the short answer is that you've just got too much going on there to expect no pops or clicks IMHO.
Personally I avoid reverb altogether when tracking, but if you must use it may I suggest trying to keep the number of reverb plugs to a minimum...preferably just one ...

Actually....Fernando, if you haven't resolved your problem, post the setup here and I'll see if I can replicate it in my studio. (name of plugs used, ver# of GStudio, ver# of Logic, whether or not you're using Software Monitoring in Logic, Giga sample set, SFP ver# etc etc)
Also a rundown of your ...

You might try raising the latency of SFP (ULLI)a notch (or two) to remedy this. I have the same situation with Giga & Logic 5.51 that only occurs when recording Giga into Logic, I have to raise the latency (13ms from memory) when I want to record from Giga into Logic.....even though when only ...

I have to agree.....it's really no big deal to route the output of a CW synth into (in my case Logic) and record it to an audio track. I do the same thing with my Triton all the time.
Yes, the bounce type function of Logic 6 and others is nice (it still takes time...albeit less), but it's only a ...

To marcus,
Yes you can use other digital mixing devices to control Logic, but AFAIK they don't have the depth of control that the LC does with Logic. You can pretty much control and automate everything from a LC within Logic, whereas the intergration of Mackie Control with Cubase/Nuendo, Samplitude ...

Hi All,
I'm a Logic user (Plat.v5.5.1-PC ver), who also has a Logic Control, and I was very happy to see Emagic & Mackie recently 'kiss & makeup' regarding their differences with the Logic Control & the Mackie Control.
The result is we now have a third version that replaces both the LC & MC ...

The main issue with the A16 Ultra is concerning the outputs. If you want to connect an unbalanced piece of gear to the output of the A16 make sure your 1/4 inch jack is a stereo plug (tip/ring/sleeve) with positive on the tip, NO CONNECTION on the ring, and ground on the sleeve.
DO NOT use a 'mono ...

I use a Luna II and have tried both methods when doing clean installs in the past (WinXP Pro w/SP1). To be honest I didn't notice any particular difference, so the last 2 clean installs that I've done have been ACPI.........or auto install if you like. This is on an Asus P4PE with The Luna in PCI ...

I'm in the same situation and basically decided to wait untill there's proper OSX support for Creamware cards, and also for the Logic 6 series to mature. This could take at least 12 months to happen, but that's fine, my current WinXP PC works REALLY well, "so if it ain't broke...." etc.
