A while ago when CW had those specials on I purchased the Mixer pack that comes with the Dynamic Mixer & the STM 2448. Everything has been going fine since then (BTW this is used on a 3 x DSP Luna II card). I ...

For a while I was running 3 screens...2 on a Matrox G400max(32mb)AGP, and the third was runing on a cheap TNTII PCI video card, it actually worked quite well. (And it was on my old PC, a lowly P3 1gig). The only reason I stopped using it was that all 3 monitors are CRT, and the 3rd one just took up ...

Actually....Fernando, if you haven't resolved your problem, post the setup here and I'll see if I can replicate it in my studio. (name of plugs used, ver# of GStudio, ver# of Logic, whether or not you're using Software Monitoring in Logic, Giga sample set, SFP ver# etc etc)
Also a rundown of your ...

I have to agree.....it's really no big deal to route the output of a CW synth into (in my case Logic) and record it to an audio track. I do the same thing with my Triton all the time.
Yes, the bounce type function of Logic 6 and others is nice (it still takes time...albeit less), but it's only a ...

To marcus,
Yes you can use other digital mixing devices to control Logic, but AFAIK they don't have the depth of control that the LC does with Logic. You can pretty much control and automate everything from a LC within Logic, whereas the intergration of Mackie Control with Cubase/Nuendo, Samplitude ...

I use a Luna II and have tried both methods when doing clean installs in the past (WinXP Pro w/SP1). To be honest I didn't notice any particular difference, so the last 2 clean installs that I've done have been ACPI.........or auto install if you like. This is on an Asus P4PE with The Luna in PCI ...
