i guess to reinstall my amd 800/512ram. what's better. win98se ore win200 for pulsar2 and cubase5vst?

Windows XP is more robust than either of the options. XP Pro SP1. There are some limitations in terms of speed. Since its a more robust platform, I've heard that its file access doesn't improve and infact slows down on systems compared to Windows 98 running the same FAT32 drives. That issue aside its very stable and reasonably secure. Don't use your system for anything but audio and you'll be just fine.

xp would be best,but 98selite is 2nd.

I had to re-install my PC again and I go for Win 98se again.
I use my PC with the www too and in that case I won´t use XP.

Win 2000. No headache. No hidden stuff. Stable. Service Pack 4.
