HI all,
Haven't posted here for ages, 'cause....well, I haven't needed to....until today!
A while ago when CW had those specials on I purchased the Mixer pack that comes with the Dynamic Mixer & the STM 2448. Everything has been going fine since then (BTW this is used on a 3 x DSP Luna II card). I actually don't really use Scope plugs at all, it's more the routing & monitoring features that I utilize.
Anyway....after having the 2448 for a few months it only dawned on me today that I havdn't even bothered with the channel comp & EQ yet...(I usually comp & eq with outboard before coming into the PC). So I just set up a drum loop (stereo) on channel 13 of my 2448 and began playing with the channel EQ....but something's really wrong here. Nothing seems to be working as it should. If I double click to put a red dot on the EQ window, visually I get the curve for a notch eq (with the 3 controls for freq/Q/gain) but raising or lowering the gain (above below odb) does nothing!!...yet moving left or right does...it's as if it's acting like the Highcut filter.
This happens with all the various filters....I'll select Notch but get the controls for Low Shelving?!?!?!? WTF!?

If anyone can shed light on this I'd really appreciate it!

Regards.........Dave

Yes.

The EQ works...but in a very bizzare way that just does not match what you see on screen.

If it comes down to it, bypass the EQ and use a PEQ4 insert instead.
