Module Apollo I/O-Sys A Source is not appropriate

Post by Cochise »

What does this mean :-?

It pops up when I load Z-link I/Os since I've added a Pulsar II to the 2 Luna II.
Once I click OK, all seems to work the same...

It happens when I load one of the two modules.
I was able to load them without this, before...

Ok,

I just checked It happens when the Pulsar is set as 1st board tweaking the boardid in cset.ini.

Just wondering if I can work this way the same, or I've to avoid the Pulsar as 1st board.

I kinda guessed that your P2 has taken the place of board1 from the Luna.
wasn't that something that can be cured by recreating your default project to reflect the renumbering of the boards and their I/O?

There are no Z-link modules in the startup project, neither in the default.
There are Pulsar analog I/O at now, since I'm checking the balanced lines from the Plus plate of the board.

I use to load them when I need additional I/Os.

Which modules does the default project should contain?

all that you have in there now.
afair making a new project should be done to wipe all references that say your luna Z-Link I/O are located on board1.
I may be wrong here, but I somehow remember after changing the order of the cards it may be a good idea to make a new project from scratch.

Just tried all the things you suggest.

No error message if the Z-link modules are loaded with the default project, but if I remove one of the modules, or both and then reload it/them, I get the message again; even redoing the setup.

All is working, though.

Is it however better having the P2 as 1st board ( is this issue harmless 360°, i mean ) ?

The good new here is I don't lose sync any longer connecting my Line6 Pod through AES/EBU instead of SP/DIF, when spikes transients (like switches flicks in the room beside ) are going through the AC line :)

Ok, maybe I get it now.
I could set the startup project without Z-link and the default including them.

This way I could recall that project when I intend to work with the Lunabox...

I solved this way:

My default project has no Z-link modules; It's loaded at startup since the command line in the autorun has no longer the -s.
The startup project has Z-link modules, and I recall it from the file menu when Lunabox I/Os are needed.
