Re: Asio Clicks when receiving midi controller data

I received a message from Soniccore with the following advice: - Although Soniccore recommends ASUS Mobos this seems to be a software problem - For synthesizers Scope mode should be better, Particularly in live use. - The problem might be solved by using a separate USB Midi-Interface - The Midi and ...

Re: Asio Clicks when receiving midi controller data

Good evening Erminardi I do have v5.0.2617 installed already. In fact the problem occurs in scope mode as well, when playing VST-Synths in realtime. It does not happen in Scope mode when playing Scope synths. Hence my observation that the clicks only occur when the audio stream goes trough asio driv...

Re: Asio Clicks when receiving midi controller data

Hi Neutron Do you connect Maschine via Midi or via USB? Controllers I used while observing the clicks (Connected to Scope Midi-IN-Ports): - Modwheel of a E-mu E4K sampling keyboard - Doepfer Pocket Control I also tried two USB-Controllers and they did not cause a problem (Midi-Ports on my Scope Card...

Re: Asio Clicks when receiving midi controller data

Hi again

Here is a mp3-file of me playing a note on the Minimax repeatedly and moving the modwheel at the same time.
Also attached you can see a close-up waveform of one of the clicks..

I hope this helps to clarify the problem.

best regards
Daniel

Re: Asio Clicks when receiving midi controller data

Hi Erminardi It seems your problems were caused by midi signals interfering directly to the analog side of the DA-converters on your boards. I also used to have this type of problems in the past, caused by the computer itself (mouse movements were audible on the Scope-outs). The clicks I experience ...

Re: SCOPE 5.1

On July-26 2010 I received a message from Soniccore support stating that Scope 5.1 64bit will be available in aproximately one month.
As I understand from previous posts in this thread this statement will not come as a big suprise to most of you.

Asio Clicks when receiving midi controller data

Dear Board Members After eight years I replaced my PC and upgraded to Scope 5. I am very happy to see that my trusty old Luna + Pulsar1 are still compatible with today's computers and Scope version. Unfortunately I am now struggeling with a Midi-Problem which I have never experienced before: Wheneve...

ok.. i reinstalled 3.1c. this solved the issue about the oscillator volume pots in the mixing section of miniscope. the strange behaviour of the pitch rotary knobs (and other controls) only appears if the system preferences are set to the "vertical" mouse movement option for rotary control...

Thanks a lot for checking Valis! It seems there's something wrong with my installation. Scope was installed by the Person who sold me the PC. Maybe not such a good idea.. Also some other things are strange: Vectron Player makes the software crash everytime i load it and there were no manuals install...

Dear Scope Community I played around with the different versions of the miniscope yesterday (mkI, mkII, wavelength edition) and found out that the mixer section does not properly work: you can switch on/off individual oscillatos but the volume pot for each oscillator does not work. Also the rotary k...

I want a midi controller (values 0..127) to move a parameter in pulsar from let's say 50% to 90% of the full range. This should be possible using the "modulation range" pot in the controller settings menu (the one which opens with right click on a fader, then click the light blue rhomboid ...

I am successfully running Pulsar+Luna with software release 3.01 and Propack on a pretty old PC, a Pentium II / 300 MHz. Everything is running perfect except for the graphical user interface which is very slow, especially when moving big objects. Example: - Open the Channel window of the Pulsar mixe...

I figured out in the meantime that it works as soon as i copy the files into the corresponding Pulsar folders (installation instructions are not very precise in this aspect) - beginner mistake  I only don't understand why they put that missleading messa...

Hi all! I just bought the Propack and am now trying to find my way on the Pulsarmixer. Did someone see the following problem? I tried to assign a midicontrol to the Controlroom volume pot in the master section. After right clicking the pot the usual menu appears, but when moving the hardware midi co...

I think the easiest way to generate a feedback loop in Pulsar/Modular2 is to use the xfade/feedback connector module (from the modifier directory)

As an example check Montys Montylay:

The external feedbackloop of this patch is no real feedbackloop. The delays you hear are generated in the internal loopback of the delay module included. Pulsar does not allow feedback loops at all unless you use the xfade/feedback connector module (from the modifier directory) As an example check M...
