I just tried to install my Sonic Timeworks vintage EQs under Pulsar 3.01 and found out it's not working. So I checked their website hoping to find an update and all i came accross is this:

"Please note, the Pulsar plug-ins are currently not working with Creamwares v.3.x software"

I just searched these forum and was surprised that nobody complained about this yet. I know many of you have said very nice things about these plugs in the past so i am sure you must have noticed they are not working anymore..

Does anydy know something about this issue?

thanks a lot

STW are not supported under OS 3.0, but I use the whole series daily, without any problem. I have the DSP Bundle (EQ's, 4080L, Compressors).

The only thing is that 4080L will refuse to install in Win2k/XP, but as most STW users know, but a manual installation bypasses of that problem.

STW are updating there effects even, there probably will be OS 3.x devices soon!!

They all install seemlessly, only 4080L needs special treatment. If you want, I'l mail you a package which contains all necessary files. Just unzip it in your Pulsar folder, then load one 4080L so you can Register it and all should work!

To make them easy to use, I copied EQ's, Compressors and Reverb in corresponding folders from Pulsar, so now they can be right-click inserted in mixers etc.

Happy Pulsaring =)

Hey, thanks alot for your wise answers!

I figured out in the meantime that it works as soon as i copy the files into the corresponding Pulsar folders (installation instructions are not very precise in this aspect) - beginner mistake

I only don't understand why they put that missleading message on their website - probably it's a typo..

The message "Please note, the Pulsar plug-ins are currently not working with Creamwares v.3.x software" is on the website because of the install problems mentioned here, and because they're not really version3 compatible with regards to preset handling etc.
True version3 compatible plugs will be out VERY soon.

Kim.
