Re: Noise when moving the mouse

The noise does not disappear in any case. Even if I unplug the screen (power and vga) and nothing else is connected to the computer/socket. I also tried to put the power supply of the headphone amp to another socket, but I'm not sure if its the same circuit.

Workaround: I use a digital mixer and ...

Re: Noise when moving the mouse

Thanks for the link. I checked everything but the noise remains. Even if no screen is connected. Perhaps I should buy a new video card, but this is some kind of lottery, isn't it? How can I be sure that a new setup will actually work?

Re: Noise when moving the mouse

thanks for your reply.

I made several recordings and exported them to another computer. it seems that there is no noise at the analog input ports (but with no device/instrument connected). is there anything I can do to reduce the noise? is this an issue concerning my specific computer components?

Noise when moving the mouse

Hi all,

I know this is a classic, but earlier recommendations could not solve my problem. When I move my mouse pointer I can hear noise through my scope analog outputs. I've done all updates like suggested in an earlier post. I also checked the IRQ settings: graphic card is using another IRQ than ...

vocodizer bug

Hi all!

found an annoying bug in Vocodizer (scope 5.0.2617). When loading a project with Vocodizer audio input connected to ASIO (probably to any source), no audio arrives at the Vocodizer until removing and reloading it. Does anyone know this problem and is there a fix or workaround?

Thanks in ...

Re: Scope SDK killed Scope 5

But soundcard drivers are handled by the operating system, aren´t they? The new drivers should have been active even without rebooting my system.

Anyway, I´m glad that it is working again. I think I will install a second instance of windows for the SDK :)

Re: Scope SDK killed Scope 5

After thousands of driver changes and reboots I resigned and turned the computer off. When I started it again a few minutes ago to do a backup and to reinstall windows, scope 5 started without any problems and cubase works too now...

I´ve got no idea, what the problem was. :-?

Scope SDK killed Scope 5

Hi all!

Yesterday I had the stupid idea of installing the scope SDK on my scope 5 production system (1x scope + 2x pulsar2). I switched all the drivers to the SDK drivers but the SDK didn´t start anyway.

After reinstalling the new v5 drivers using the automatic install function in the device ...

Does scope need a wiki?

What do you think about starting a wiki project for scope? Of course, there is a lot of knowledge inside planet Z, but I think it is not very comfortable to get it out. I think, a wiki could easily become a serious persistent knowledge base for scope. Not least for the scope SDK...

(In principle ...

Re: SFP5 - New features, fixes, bugs?

feature and bug: :)

It seems that you do not need to close cubase anymore when loading a new scope project. You just need to reset the audio device. Problem: afterwards the latency is terribly high till you re-select ASIO SCOPE.

Maybe it just me, but I used to see all the patch cables in modular in v. 4.5.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
The routing checkbox in the top bar of modular is checked?

Re: Upon installing v5: Hardware version 16 detected

the startup error is probably caused by the old version still autostarting.

you can try the following: start "regedit" and go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and delete the old sfp.exe entry...

(or use msconfig or regcleaner etc.)

Re: SFP5 - New features, fixes, bugs?

First thing I noticed (beside transparent windows ;)): the dsp load is slightly different. I cannot load old projects that are near the (old) dsp limit because of dsp overload.
