Warp,
How much DSP will this modular system use? I use as many verbs as I can, so having one big DSP-hungry device isn't as useful. Do the unused modules use DSP?

I'm excited about the A-100! You're filling a big hole in the CW line-up! You might also keep the idea of a sampled convolution verb in the back of your mind.

Hey Warp....
I'm urging you once again to release the ambience program!!!! I think one reason why you're not selling enough of the P100 is that you're not charging enough. People doubt that it's as good as it realy is. I say charge $400US for both! If Mano wants me to, I'd be happy to do a review or ...

Kim...
Congrats! Hope this helps sales...Your verb is excellent, and CW needs a great verb associated with it. Once again...I LOVED what I heard of the ambience program. I'd be VERY HAPPY to pay you today for a non-demo version...please!!!!!

Hey Warp...
I also love your stuff...and all the ST stuff. The problem as I see it is CW has never had a truly stable platform that's easy to set up and use. So, all the pros have abandoned it...except for a few diehards like me. That means ther are few users with cash. I hope you continue, and ...

Hey, check out this supply. I've tried several different supplies, and my 30 shark system is the most stable with this one.

The TC6000..to me at least..is the best reverb. It puts the 480L and 960L to shame. If you come up with a 6000 emulation that really sounds good, and doesn't hog all the SFP resources, I'll surely pay $$ for it!

I only see native systems getting more powerful as CPUs get more powerful. That leaves Creamware in a bit of a bind. There is only so much computer power..DSP or Native that is needed for audio. If DSP is not going to offer something that you can not do native, there is no justification for the ...

Tom...

I not knocking the way the small cards sound. SFP sounds great. I refering to competing against Digital Performer/Logic on an iBook.

You're right they are useful, but would you buy today?

Have you heard the Vienna Symphonic winds? They're pretty amazing, and the legato tool makes for stunning realism. My guess is the amount of work to do a sym of that complexity would be staggering.

I think they should focus on making SFP less buggy and more user-friendly, and better integration ...

Any time you have an external solution, the cost goes up, and the power goes down. My point was: a simple, easy to use, and more powerful-than-native system is essential.

Someone also made a point that Creamware should focus on the software. I agree! Bring on a new killer sampler!

My point about ...

Lots of interesting views here! It's my feeling that Creamware should keep the hardware to a minimum...no more Noahs. There is no doubt...todays music studios are pretty much just computers, so keep the external boxes to a minimum and stop the huge development costs that bankrupted Creamare ...

NOT FUNNY!!!!!!(Well maybe just a little.) I'm still pissed at Emagic. Hey, SX2 sems to be a LOT more stable than Logic. Apple can KEEP LOGIC.

I do hope that Creamware gets in gear and makes things work. Are they going to NAMM in LA? We'll see.

It drives me nuts that Creamware does not reply to things like a DP development deal! What are they thinking?

I think they should work something out to supply DP licenses to developers free of charge in return for a percentage of the SFP plugins developed by that company....anything to encourage ...

I think the Mackie monitors have WAY too much bass...and not very tight. The KRK and the Dynaudio monitors seem to be the general favorites in my circles. The KRK's don't have a real extended top end, but mixes on them translate very well to all other speakers. That's why they're my favorite to mix ...

Yes, It was mixed with Creamware cards. My main system has 2 15-Shark cards, and my secondary system has Pulsar II and an old type I SRB. I use the 2nd system mainly for extra 'verbs. I also have a Lexicon 480L patched in analog through an A16Ultra. For EQ/filters I mainly use the Sonic Timeworks. I ...
