Hey again Zezappa.
A couple of points to cheer you up:
1: You're never alone on Planet Z - there are too many great people here to offer constructive criticism and a pat on the back at the right time. Nobody here is patronising or egocentric (as far as I know

) So what you get is what you ask for, whether it be advice, problem solving, comments about tracks or anything really.
Remember - you're never alone (spooky)
2: You mention that you've only had 3 years with the computers and you're now 44.
Well, Chris Werner said that he started with the original Soundblaster card.
I say I'm jealous of both of you. Oh to be 44 again. I started by stretching some Tyrannosaurus gut over a Brontosaurus bone and strumming it with a Pterodactyl feather - big instrument and heavy music.
You've got plenty of years on me.
3: Some people like a point of reference to other artists for comparison. I wasn't suggesting that consciously or otherwise that you were copying styles.
4: We've all struggled with this technology at some time or other too - relax, it finally makes sense when you reach 75 years old

5: I love the flexibility of the midi side of the software too. I'm happier with the midi side of things - it's the audio and mixing/mastering that I struggle with (ask Chris Werner or worse - wait for about 2 weeks for my next upload)
From my point of view, I look forward to hearing more of your music.
