I've downloaded a file from internet that it's suppoused to be an Akai sample collection, but the file has a .SUB extension. What is that for?, how can I use it?.

Hello! 
A .sub file is a CD image file. You need to burn this image file on a CD with a program called CDRWin or something like that (or maybe with Nero too). You have to choose "create CD from image file" from the CD-burning program and it will create an AKAI formatted CD.
