You know how it is. You just bought that sample cd which is in audio format only. You can rip the individual tracks to a wav easily enough but how do you seperate the individual sounds within the wav file quickly and easily without labourious cutting and pasting in an audio editor?
Head over to Maz's home page and download "WaveKnife". This utility will analyze the wav file and then create another unique wav file for each sample it finds within the original file. It can do batch jobs as well. I just created 664 individual wav's out of a 93 Track Sample cd in less than 2 mins, not including ripping time. Best of all, the utility is free
