Astroman: The Eagle constellation is low in the north-east / north at the moment. The "eagle" itself is upside down.
Last night I did go outside to see her star. I checked first on my "Starry Night" astronomy program, went outside, looked straight ahead and up 33-degrees and there she was, twinkling above the palm trees.
I don't want to sound too sentimental, but I did make a wish for her on her star.
And given that my daughter might conceivably be alive in 2100 (

) there is some small hope that a probe might even reach Altair by then, *just* 16 light years away.
