Thanks Genoxcide for keeping the hotline alive !

I hoped underDSP people like me could taste the SDK before investing, well ...

I also expect to taste the doc file to estimate if I can handle it.

If you unfold as a guru, you could buy the full : 100 devices at 100 euros sold and you're already better !

Now CWA has to * expose * all third party creations and not links somewhere on a back page.

Creamware World : play, wire, create, sale !

Ralf, I think what you need right now is a massage...it helps to remove toxins out of your system and relaxes your tense muscles, especially if you've been drinking lots of coffee. It can really improve your productivity. Also do you have a store nearby that sells aromatherapy?

Take care,

I'am sure you can judge what happens here at CWA-support.

excuse me for putting a little "please stop the bullshit" here.

Couple of points:
1. Free new sdk is for making free new devices

2. if RB cant handle all the mails and phones, FFS rent someone!!! in all honesty, of 1500 mails my bet is that 1200 is registry related! this doesnt take 3 minutes pr mail to solve (and yes i know that for a fact!) and doesnt require a degree in nuclear development. Me myself have been waiting 6 weeks for a simple 0.5 minute key transfer.

3. hope u having a good holiday, frank. Enjoy US, take yer time. Thanks for #4, we enjoy it, hope u do as well.

Best regards,

Anyways, best of luck to you, and hang in there

1200 assuming they are all different emails from different people. Now, I know people that have sent 3 or more emails already (so maybe we can divide 1200 by 3? - all the junk mail ( ) ~= maybe 200?).

I can't name that evil person that sent 4 emails to enquire what happened to his Six Strings activation key...

Thats a good calculation to imagine in what "hell" Ralf is at the moment. To make it more evil than that.. he is alone. Frank is in the US and Ralf is the only one who manage this mails... hours for hours for hours, days...

If anyone waits too anxious for his keytransfer you could call the support. So did I and Ralf did the transfer within seconds. No problem with that. If you don't want to call the support you have to wait until your mail to transfer is in progress...

And not to forget... My phonecalls are also taking his time to answer the mails (ashes on my head) but i think it is useful to support CW in this way to keep up the community with fresh infos . It costs me alot of money to phone all the time but i like to do because CW and a good community is important for me although am pretty new as a pulsarian...

Thanks Genoxcide for letting us know all these things. It was quite apparent that Ralf was really busy when I tried to call him myself the other day and it took me over an hour to get through. I really hope he hangs in there.

Hello,

i know, that it is hard to reach me by phone.
I can only talk with one person and the line is busy than for all the others. Sometimes a call needs only a few seconds, sometimes it takes 20 minutes. At last i've tried to reach the supporthotline of a big company with much supporters - for 3 hours without success and i was very angry about that. I will say, i can understand, that users get angry, if they cannot reach us for hours. Sorry, but at the present i can't change this situation.

cheers
Ralf

Welcome Ralf. I'm really happy that you show up. Please do us a favour: Sometimes CW used to be VERY quiet. PLEASE send us, sometimes, if time allowes, a "message from Eriwan" like -ok, we've now finished beta testing phase 2, two more phases to come- well, something like that. No information can be VERY hard to tolerate and a bad one is always better then nothing. In this sense. I hope Frank can understand this as well, so that he gives "fire free" to you.
Yes, and thank you for the good work you're doing!

Ralf:

It's not your fault. This is a part of the CW "Restructuring". I hope things will get better.

Genoxcide- in a previous DP document Creamware stated that the new version of DP had it's own built in assembler- which would mean that a software like Analog Devices EZ-Kit would not be neccessary - is it true?
will the new sdk feature a parallel port dongle to enable the encryption of dsp files?
most DP users who paid for DP do not even have the actual SDK with the dongle that you can actually create your own dsp atoms with.
so will paid DP users have to sign an NDA to actually have the ability to use the full SDK without signing an NDA? any info is appreciated.
regards

Well about the fullSDK the best is to ask the owners about this expensive thing...
For the free one... there is actually an assembler to program in it i think... but thats hardcore to program a SHARC3 in assembler from scratch imho. The Kit from AD will surely help you alot to program a DSP in that category... I don't think there is a dongle but also a key like the other devices and the Scope platform... But that are only thoughts because i didn't ask ralf so far about the Specs of the SDK because CW is discussing about it for themselves ATM.

It'd be great if the atom-creating kit could be opened up...obviously we the greens wouldn't be able to do anything like that, but it would encourage some 3rd-party companies to start developing for Scope. I don't think I have any desire to learn SHARC code.

My question (for the french Users).

It is that the SDK is also for multicards ?
(I have 14 DSP but in multicards & many French users have 14 dsp in multicards.)

Thanks for your reply.

If you want to write atoms, you have to go thru Analog Devices, not CW. First make sure you have DP, I heared the AD kit is very expensive.
