Scope 4 first impressions - did anything change?
For me new and old bug:
new:
1- changing ulli settings without closing and reopening sfp cause crash
old:
1- aux cables in 1632 still disappear
2- deleting dest and source module won't graphically update the modules they are related to.
The rest is all the same.
Don't know why to rename sfp 4.0..
that's all folkes!

I haven't had time to put SCOPE 4.0 through its paces.
All I can say is that installation was easy and it all works.
AND... I didn't have to go reinstalling 3rd party and older stuff.
I bought the STM 2448 mixer and it seems to use less DSP than what the STM 1632 did (???)
Not sure if it's just SCOPE 4.0 optimisation or if the STM 2448 is just better optimised - I note you can split the load across multiple boards if you have them . . hmmm
Anyway, all is well with SCOPE 4.0 here so far.
Cheers

Well no blue screens here, but when I change the latency to and relpy with yes wether this should be activated instantly, the whole system freezes, just like with 3.1c. If I answer no, save, quit and reload SFP all is fine with new latency settings. On 2004-04-24 02:38, Shayne White wrote:
I still get blue screens when I fiddle with latency settings using WDM. Also I'm sure they haven't fixed the multichannel crackling and so forth.
Thankfully Sonar has ASIO support!
Nice to know that some things can be are here to stay, but why this feature ?
cheers

I dont recall this from 3.1c but,
It seems they changed the way patch menu's work now, in 3.1c some times the patch menu would vanish and I would have to recall another patch menu to see where I was at, this was annoying since you would lose your point of reference (unless noted in live bar).
Now it seems, that the patch menu in windows atleast shows as a "tab" above the task bar. This is interesting because I had a project I loaded up and had no joke 5 instances of Pro One patch menus open, I was like wth are all these tabs and they all said Pro One on them, so for me this is a nice little thing
Cheers!

I just wanted to say that on a Mac, the "file", "set" and "?"" menus behave the same and it isn't fixed. Live bar: when you collaps it and then drag it too fast it detaches from the pointer so you have to move it several times to reach the desired position - that was also in 3.1c.On 2004-04-26 10:20, Basic Pitch wrote:

I just wanted to say, that the 2448 mixer still have 24 stereo channels. This has not been changed since it's release. On 2004-04-26 19:30, samplaire wrote:

Could we stick to changes now?
