Hi there,
I am running a mac dual G4 with pulsar 2 and SCOPE PLATFORM 3.1
So far I have got an audio signal into scope platform. I want to send the signal to logic but I cannot select a driver for ASIO in the hardware preferences menu. There is a control panel button but it does nothing when it is pressed.
The creamware asio driver is installed in a folder inside logic directory but i cannot select an ASIO driver for the life of me.
I am lost !!! 1 week spent so far trying to work this out.

What does your SFP project look like? It should contain at least one Pulsar/Scope/Luna HW audio input (analog or digital) , at least one output and obligatory - asio input/output modules to be seen by Logic. Without ASIO ins/outs Logic or any other sequencer cannot communicate with SFP

did you copy the creamware asio driver into logic's asio driver folder?
if so, open SFP first (as always...) make sure you have your asio dest/source modules loaded, then start Logic...
normally you shouldn't have a problem after doing this. (don't feel personally attacked, but the only time i saw this kind of message, was when i was trying out different sequencers when i was starting out. cracks of course... or when starting the sequencer BEFORE SFP)
in cubase it is normal you cannot open the asio control thing... it is all done in SFP, see ULLI settings.
hope this helped.

Hi Borg,
Do you think that my copy of Logic might be the problem because i am using a dongle emulator? I have installed the driver in logics ASIO directory and the ASIO modules are loaded. When i start Logic it ask to turn apple talk of for OMS setup and as it goes to load it says ASIO driver not selected error -10027. I have the latest OMS installed and I cannot figure it out.
Cheers

AppleTalk should be off for most audio purposes. Also make sure VirtualMemory is off in the Memory control Panel
To allow us to figure out your problem - just tell us the whole string of things you do after turning your computer on.
Also, please, tell us the version of SFP you use - 3.1? 3.1a? 3.1b? 3.1c?
Perhaps an extension conflict occured in your system?????

Here I go Sir,
After loading OS9.2 I open SFP version 3.1c for mac. In the routing window all my connections are loaded including ASIO dest/source. I then load the dongle emulator for Logic 4.7 platinm. I then load logic. After intializing it gets to the drivers and initalizes mac av driver but not the ASIO driver. Instead it says ASIO driver not selected (-10201). Oms then comes up asking to turn apple talk off which I click yes to. OMS then says something about (you may need to check a midi/thru switch) I click OK
Logic then finishes loading.
I try to select the ASIO driver in Logic but nothing happens.
I have also just turned virtual memory off.

Ok
- try to trash some preferences - logic prefs, sound prefs;
- delete oms prefs and reinstall oms then prepare a new oms setup leave only quicktime and iac drivers - delete CW drivers and those of your midi interface (just for a test), in oms setup enable 'play in background', in oms prefs disable 'use dma' or something similar.
Perhaps it's midi causes the problem (computers, like women, say sometimes something different than expected
).
If none helps try to find THE answer in this Logic user forum: http://community.sonikmatter.com/emagic/ultimatebb.php
Good luck
