Hello,

As I mentioned in a post not too long ago, I have only recently updated to 3.1c after years of happily using version 2.4a with very few hassles and knowing what I was doing. I wish I could say the same for 3.1c. I prefer 2.4, but I dont get the features of version 3, which I want (the "new" synths for example).
The main hassle I am having is getting my head around the STM mixers>1632 and 16 S.
It doesn't have the same ins and outs as the Big Mixer and where are the Busses? I want to be able to route my audio in Logic to different busses in the Pulsar mixer. I know this might appear to be a stupid question for experienced users, so excuse my ignorance but help!!!

Thanks in advance for your responses.

In STM1632 there is no busses, execpt maybe the 4 mono aux send...

The STM2448 have 8 bus with a routing matrix.

why not use the STM 24/48 then? I'd say this is the real "sucessor" to the BigMixer.

Hi KIng Of Snake,

The simple answer is that I don't have it.

Well actually I do. In fact I have a total of 3 Pulsar cards. Two pulsar 2 and one Pulsar 1. I haven't installed my Pulsar 2 cards yet, not until I get my new system built. But what I have decided to do is just have the 2 Pulsar cards installed on 1 machine ( the new one to be built) and my Pulsar 1 card will stay on the machine I currently use ( which will be my fuck around machine-pardon the expression). So I will have 2 music making machines.
I have the STM 24/ 48 on my Pulsar 2 cards, my Pulsar 1 doesn't have it.

If you have two pulsar2 cards, why don't you install one pulsar2, and e-mail creamware to transfer one mixer package 1 from pulsar2 to pulsar1?
(Both cards need to be installed for this).

bingo.or you could put the p1 and p2 in one machine and the other p2 in the other.that would be the easiest to have all features in both machines........

And what's the best in the above solution - you have the extreme ULLI in both machines
