hello,
i was recording my drum tracks and i have experienced that cubase vst 5 has added a latency.
my question is how big is the latency amout with cubase vst 5 when i´m recording a drumtrack through pulsar (through transient designer)and then route the signal back to vst.
my system latency is whilst a recording session
at 25ms (ulli).
the inspector allows me to compensate a delay.
how big is the latency when i´m recording as described above.(i guess 50 ms bcause the signal have to flow to pulsar 25ms and then back to vst 25ms again) but i´m not sure if this thoughts are true.
please help me. how big is the latency when i will bounce my tracks with the export function in vst at 25ms?
please help me if you can
thanks

nearly every process has its latency in vst i guess (for example: if you route a sigal to the master, then the signal is faster than through a bus. the signal has to go twice).
if anyone has a list which contains the millisecs of any latency proneness device (busses, dynamic devices, etc) please post it.
thanks
btw my recorded drumtracks have had over 400 milliseconds delay. i compensated the problem with cubase inspectors delaycompensation.
but why this uge amount?
is it transient designer?
