Hi there!!!
I bought Powersampler card and after i update the software to Luna 2.5, after i bought the Luna 3 software and after some days ScopeFusion was out and i install it on my PC.
Im using a Pc:
Windows 2k with service pack 3
Pentium III 733 with 512 Mb ram
Cubase SX
The problem is that when i start the XTC mode and turn off SFP in Cubase Sx ther's no sound card available.
Can anyone explain me how can i use XTC mode with SX?
Do i need another sound card to audio output?
Is it possible to use XTC mode with my card only?
With my card witch is the best way to get best features? i don't need a sampler i need a good audio output and if possible use dsp effects on my produtions.
Please help this is really impotant cos i've been spending some money on creamware stuff but so far i'm not getting what i need from it, it was nice if i can use all features available.
PROBLEMS WITH XTC MODE
High there!
I have the same issue and really dont see the point in having to use another soundcard to use XTC mode!!!
The advise i got was to turn off SFP before starting but then: Asio Driver error etc cause there is no drivers to feed SX.
In the manual (Pulsar) it is "important" that the Creamware Platform opens before any applications so this doesnt sound equal.
I am trying to get an answer from the company that sold me the card and i will get back with
some news about the issue i hope!
Best Regards

Does it mean that XTC mode will work with SX and opened SFP?On 2002-12-12 20:27, at0mic wrote:
SFP -> Set -> Settings -> Global -> XTC -> (x) Enable XTC mode
Make sure XTC devices are installed with SFP setup.
I think (I will check now) that XTC mode dont work with SFP and SX until SFP is closed and then restart SX. It should be OK now.
