With burning enthusiasm (and some looks into the video) I tried a first simple device "tomspeaker".
All worked fine, but some magic happened again:
In SDK my device shows a disc on its device icon. It stays after reloading into SDK, but it is not visible on normal scope.
It doesn't seem to have any effect, but is there an explanation for this ?

Yes it is normal. If I remember correctly, it means that the module is a "device", ie a reference to a file on disk (hence the "diskette" icon) , rather than a "module" ie a module/element that is part of a project or device (= not a reference to a disk file, but to a component of the project).
I think that, if you save the device as an "*.mdl" and reload it, the diskette should disappear.
( But in this case I think it is better to save as a *.dev device).
