How do I assign MIDI Controllers in v3 devices? In old devices it's very easy (you re-save the entire device).

This is how I've done: Load MINIMAX, assign the right controllers, save a preset in the MIDI Controller Preset-List.

Guess what happens if I reload the device and double-click on my midi controller? SPF crashes.

Any ideas?

Carl.

...now I've been doing some tests.

Minimax - crashes.
Inferno - works fine.
Blue Synth - remembers the first controller only.

Fantastic. Isn't it?
Is there any way to make the controllers autoload as well?

When you save the controler settings make sure you save them in the midi preset section.

The preset section doees not always remember controler information

No I don't.
I'm sorry but I use controllers for everything from automated mix downs to sampler parameters and I have no problems with SFP.
But let me say I still run on WIN 98.
It's still the most stable

Load device for the first time.
Save CC# to Remote Preset and save list.

For each time you load the device newly into a project, you'll have to select the Remote Preset. Once the project's saved, the Preset list loads automatically.
