I wish I knew what chassis you were using so I could see more, but there are 1U Chassis that are fairly cheap with built in Horizontal slots.
You are looking for a HH adapter maybe like this.
HH means half height, usually followed bu a HL or FL, meaning half length, or like GFX cards Full Length.
Our cards are actually FH-HL, meaning full height, half length.

My next upgrade includes a mATX Supermicro 1150 board and chassis.
It has an mSATA connector so I can have a tiny mSATA OS+Apps device on the board itself, with 2 x Horizontal PCI slots. One for the S|C Connector card (FH-HL), and one for the PCIe SSD for sample streaming. A chassis like that would be nice if you can't use the above adapter.

Maybe there is a workshop around who can modify your current metal plate to fit? The thing about getting another plate is, that you still need the HDMI slot.

the metal plate on the pcicard is too long;
i screw them up . . but then the card just holds with its connection to the pcislot
a little bit stabilized with the cable;
o.k. for testing but i need a smaller metal plate to put on the card

Yes, but one challenge is, that you do not just need a low profile plate. You need a low profile plate with a HDMI port - and the screw holes for the card in the exact same relative places. That is the reason I recommend a smith who will bend your plate, make the whole for the chassis mount and cut the excessive part of. Or you could do it yourself. Maybe you can ask Sonic Core to provide you with a plate without card - and then butcher that plate, so you still have one in normal length. I imagine it will be hard to find a standard low profile plate which will fit with your Xite card.

i think you just need to remake the bracket. cut, snip, maybe solder/braze done....
