Well, I collect all the info here,- also the stuff about Copperlan w/ Reaper,- make PDFs and then try.dante wrote:Lemme know if it works for your purposes Bud coz Im tracking MIDI hints for ScopeRise.
But I trust Gary,- if he says it works w/ MIDI presets, especially because he´s working w/ a keyboardist in his band,- that all means I was an idiot and have to figure out to make it working,- and I will.
Number of devices loaded doesn´t matter,- if MIDI presets work w/ total recall, it works w/ 1 device or 50.
If it works here on my machine, that´s big steps forward for me,- so only the problem loading more than 50% will be left.
But for the time being and what I loaded already,- even it´s "only" a 50% capacity of the XITE-1,- I´m able to do realtime work w/ MIDI then.
In addition, this Copperlan stuff is extremely promising and if we get that embedded w/ SCOPE 6,- coolest !!!
Reaper supports OSC since some time and there´s the latest update since yesterday w/ improvements.
I see me ditching a lot of analogue gear like mixers in my room.
Maybe all my MIDI interfaces, thru boxes and mergers too.
So, Reaper might fill the gap until ParseQ is coming.
We´ll talk about this until september

When the MIDI stuff works for me,- I want a laptop, the PCIexpress cable and the Ferrofish A16mkII and put all together w/ XITE-1 into a 6HU rack.
Until then, I have to think about what I set up as a backline ...
Maybe a washing machine, a barbie, a pinball machine, cigarette automat and a slot machine.
