How to Setup Pulsar 1 to Pulsar 2 card ????

Greetings Gentlemen.
I am pretty sure that this issue has been addressed somewhere on the Board but I try with a new post.

I have a Pulsar 1 card installed on my PC and running XP with Cubase 5 and Reason 4.
I have just purchased a Pulsar II with Mix&Master pack. It is upgraded to SCOPE v5.0.
My question is, Can i hook the 2 cards together to get 10 DSP working and what would I need to do this ( cables,software?)
Also If i upgrade to Win 7 are there problems there as well? ( XP is so solid)

No need to change to Win 7 - you should be able to combine the 2 cards in XP with an STDM cable which you can get from S|C if you dont already have one. The cable hookup is shown in manual.

just need the tdm cable stick with xp 32 as its rock solid and all plugs work

as all the samplers dont work in 64bit and a lot of john bowens synth dont work either properly

and the only reason to have 64bit is bigger ram for sample playback streaming libraries like kontakt

and most vsti companies are still using 32bit

even the uhe diva has a 32bit version and sounds sweet even tho a cpu hog

Pardon my ignorance,but is the tdm cable stick same as the STDM cable or is it totally different setup.
And where would I purchase one of those?

same cable best place to buy one is soniccore

but you can easily make them as well with some idc ribbon cable and card conector idc sockets and an idc cable crimper

rs and all other electronic wholesalers sell them 20 pin ribbon and 20 pin card edge idc connectors
