but... you guys helped me out sveral times so I'll try it.

The Reason Cubase Pulsar setup is OK, but I don't understand the following.

Reason is connected via Rewire to Cubase so when I look in the channelmixer I see the drumcomputer connected to channel 3 and 4 appering on channel 3 and four. Same for the drumcomputer connected to channel 5 and 6; it appears in the channel mixer on channel 5 and 6.

But when I record in cubase audio track 1 it records both drumcomputers at the same time on that track. Is it possible to route drumcomputer 1 to audio track 1 and drumcomputer 2 to audiotrack 2?

Also, the whole Reason package is on Asiochannel (in Pulsar) 1 (left) and 2 (right). Is this correct?

I know I've asked questions which looks like this one but it's obviuos I'm still struggling with this.

1 other question... why is the signal output (to my receiver I mean) from Pulsar not so loud?

Hope somebody knows..... Image

-> For recording: is your multi track recording enabled, do you record straight from Reason or do you record ASIO from your Project?

-> Reason on one stereo ASIO pair: Reason goes to ASIO via Cubase, check Cubase's setup. Activate more mastering busses or just assign Reason channels to different Mastermixer ports.

Hi at0mic....again  when I enable multrirecord and this is set to "merge" I can record but there's no signal. To be honest I don't know where I record from...

mastering busses? activate them? assigning Reason channels? pff, sounds difficult to me  and the cubase manual definitely does NOT help
Sorry if I sound a little bit frustrated but in fact I am...

But, at0mic, I have to thank you so far again! Thanks!

Double click ASIO Source in SFP. Make it 8, so you have 4 Stereo ASIO busses.
Go to Cubase, hit Ctl-+ for MasterMixer.
Activate the other 3 busses. Now Cubase can send to the 4 stereo busses from SFP. Hit Ctl-*, for VST mixer. Select desired bus below on each Rewire channel.

Concerning recording Rewire instruments: I normally record back from Pulsar OS, what I've mixed and processed there. If you want to do it inside Cubase/Reason, choose MixDown on MasterMixer. Solo the Rewire tracks you want to record. You'll get one stereo file I think.

Tot de volgende,

at0mic.
