Or to look at it another way, did you get enough use out of those tools to justify your original purchasing price? If so how can you complain? If not then perhaps some purchasing habits could be refined...

But either way this has been something CW/S|C has done since the days of the 'Pro Pack' (which was bundled with new systems for many at the time). As long as you didn't buy what is now 'included' within the last 2-3 months I can't see much cause for complaint. In fact it gives me good reason to upgrade to v5 myself once the bugs are ironed out, as it seems there are improvements in the handling of midi, wave drivers and the overall UI as well.

Yeah, I was getting too emotionally involved on that one :x whatever, i'd rather say that everyone should pay for the upgrade, let's say 98 Euro for the ones with 4.5, 198 Euro for the ones with 4 and older. except the ones recently bought a new card this year. It's a major upgrade, new drivers, new plugins. i just can't see any reason why s|c would not take some more money with Scope 5.

when I saw the RMX160 was included free, the only thought that went through my head was I wish I had gone for the lexicon emulations from Das instead when I bought it a lfew months ago. Sods law :( i'm the type of guy who loses a tenner to pick up a fiver I've just found.

But i'm not concerned really, i'll just get around to buying the lexicon pack when I have a few spare pennies and at least I had the rmx when I wanted it :) and I cannot wait to get ino the other little goodies that have been passed to us.

I didn't buy any of my 4.5 updates for more than 98,- :D
sometimes it's just worth waiting for summer sales or whatever they are called. DAS had similar sales periods in the past, adern too, I think...
