Yeah - Scotland often has 4 seasons in one day.
Going back to Nestor's original question though:
I'm guilty of too much caffeine and nicotine (damn, I just gave it up for 5 months and then it all fell apart).
Never eat at a fast food place though (Macdonalds, Pizza Hut, Burger King etc) - never been in one.

Wish I could swim, but I never had the courage to learn.
Tried jogging once - nearly got arrested (don't ask, but it isn't what you could possibly think).
Used to work out in a gym, but I don't have the time now (I'll have to retire from retirement).

Exercise-wise:
hill and fell walking
skiing
gardening - lots of it.
My main way to keep fit though is mountain biking. I aim to do around 150Km or 100 miles per week, regardless of the time of year. This is a mixture of road and off-road biking. I've been doing this for a few years now and am just 4000 miles short of going twice around the earth (24900 miles or so I'm told is once around the earth).

Typical shot of my sort of exercise and you can see more here:

(then click on "bike home" icon to see more if it gets your interest.

Well, it's nice to bike when no one is in front or comming fast from behind you as is often the case on Chicago's lakefront

Here we are again... the day started very cold, and right now it is "very" warm... it is crazy... people in the street would not know what to do with their clothes...

Mammut doesn't sound familiar to me Astroman. I think they were just a fairly cheap pair, but they did the job. They got shredded when a car took me out on a junction (using his mobile phone of course - cretin), so perhaps the conditions were too rough for them :)

Hm, *keeping* the health requires having been a healthy person at some point in life, which was never really the case for me. Bad back, bad knees, one of my heart valves was diagnosed to be malformed, hence I have a rather bad constitution.
But what do I do to not make it worse? I try to avoid unneeded amounts of stress and like to laugh. And not taking things more serious than they really are. Other than that, I conserve myself in high doses of coffee and use my time on earth in ways that are unlikely to make me regret in the end. I don't make enemies and I help my friends as much as I can, and that's about it. Well, I usually go to work by foot, but that won't be possible anymore when the company moves farther away at the end of this year... however, there's more to life than the length of your timespan, it's about what you do in that timespan. methinks.
cheers
:)
