how do you account for the fact that he says wars are the result of religion and then Hitchens, as a secular atheist, calls for war against Sadaam, a secular atheist?
if wars are caused by religion, then why are atheists engaged in warfare?
hey pot, stop calling the kettle black. the ADULT thing would be to accept the truth and stop with the rhetoric. religion is a problem in many places, but using religion as a scapegoat is disingenuous. Christopher Hitchens is a demogogue and a bad example.
it's fine with me if you're an atheist. it's clear that you won't address the actual issue that i've addressed, because Mr Hitchens said what he said and wrote the articles calling for war that he wrote and you have considerable emotional commitment. there's no two ways around that and everyone can see it who has eyes to see.
