I consider this a great BDay present, Thank You. This could be the missing piece that I need to thicken up the Hussie vocals a little. Soon they will be faking everythingt anyway w/ Cubase 4. so it's a little late, but I still will use it as a TC Helicon type effect, hopefully.

yes the modular version will be included in the final bundle.
About the oscilloscope, i'm trying to understand how to use some of the sdk settings, but for the moment it's not a realistic oscilloscope, because it is based on sine wave rapresentation, but i think it's the right starting point......

Might be usefulyou can modify the paramEQ display;
add points as many as displayed pixels;
each point has a xy value where x is fix y variable depending on the sample value;
make an array for input count as much as pixels;
for low/highering the resolution it would be better to convert to float for the math operations;
and convert back to integer for displaing;
cant be more precise sorry !

it's the direction that i have followed at the beginning, but there is some performance problem if adding as many points as pixels resolution, but i agree about the algorithm and i think it's something in the same way of the flexor's nbl wavedraw.
I'm trying to follow a different way and the display is dsp friendly and fast, but i don't know if i'll be able to make it a true oscilloscope

it works with audio signals, but the output is sine based, so if you analyze a square signal, you will see a sort of sine wave....okay I understand.

that wouldn`t make much sense for an oscilloscope... as you wanna see what is going on in detail with a wave,
for example if you apply a shaper in modular....
I hate it to record the wave and open it in a wave editor to analyse and see whats going on exactly....
for an oscilloscope you need some other additions, for example some triggering and drive.... so you can look at a more or less "standing waveform", so you can really see whats going on in detail.
