im gettin loads of latency using pulsar plugins xtc mode in cubase but my outboards midi instruments have no latency im using a midiman 4x4 for my out board stuff
confusing please help
xtc latency
XTC live instruments or efx cause 2-3 times the latency of regular PulsarOS mode. See also this topic for latency info.
And have a look at your manual.

Did Pulsar OS1.3 allow you select lower latency? I though ULLI was only released with the 2nd gen cards. Wasn't 1.3 for Pulsar1?
Does the 13ms work fine now? 13ms is one-way route time, but with XTC audio goes back and forth between VST host and Pulsar cards. Each go is 13ms.
so an XTC synth with altering genuine VST inserts and XTC inserts can drive latency over 50ms easily. With a 13ms latency driver.

but now with 3.01 i am having to go into the piano roll and move my parts slightly forward after recording and i never had to when i had 1.3os
but i have changed from win 98 to win xp
