Re: Device doesn't care for midi prog change ?
As i can remember if you recreate the preset list (the developer) you have to reconnect the midi signal to the preset list.
Perhaps that is.

Re: Xite & PCI on same pc.
i don't want to confuse you. I put Vdat in dsp 2. I do tests with different positioning of the asio and i have reached the conclusion that it allows more channels in 10. Perhaps it was something else... ------ My (practical) understanding of the dsp structure of the xite-1 is as follows: 1-6 old sha...

Re: Xite & PCI on same pc.
yes sdk. I have my pci boards but they are positioned in my old pc which is situated in my closet so to keep the noise down... Nevertheless i don't use it anymore so to streamline my work setup. I just use my laptop which is almost silent and 2 monitors. Unfortunately HD4000 doesn't work with a 3rd ...

Re: new DAW ideas and common procedures
there is a custom score editor for ableton live. Most composers use sibelius or finale but these apps are for score preparation. My app is gonna be a native one. It will communicate with audio interfaces normally through asio drivers. The basic problem to integrate scope with a native app is the com...

Re: new DAW ideas and common procedures
There is plenty of work left. I do it without any rush between other projects but i have came to the point to be able to say "i will do it". I don't know if it will be able to compete with other daws in terms of "completeness". Right now i'm designing it for myself... (no OSX, no...

Re: new DAW ideas and common procedures
Thank you Bud. I also find logic score editor the best, I'm designing a kind of eclectic daw: Logic audio score editor, wavelab analyzers and basic audio editing, reaper routing, ableton simplicity, scope sdk routing... multiple windows for multiple monitors, minimum settings for non-cluttered displ...

Re: ASIO for modern times
The application probes the drivers on the system (here scope asio) for it's native format. Then it streams the audio according to that. Yes if internal computation is different format conversion can take place. I can't advice about which module to use. I use the "32 bit asio" and not the &...
