SCOPE Mac OS9 problem

Greetings Experts

My trusty old Scope system running on a G4 under OS 9.2.1/2 has partially uninstalled itself or something- SCOPE will only boot part way, the devices are visible in the routing window, but no mixer, and the menus are ones I have never seen before, there is nothing to load.

I have ...

Re: Macos9.2.1>DP>SCOPE>sudden clicks and pops - unusual

thanks Tom

odd thing is that I have had no previous problems like this, with the same setup

but the recording disk is pretty full, it's level of fragmentation considerable - all being remedied now.

thanks again

Re: Macos9.2.1>DP>SCOPE>sudden clicks and pops - unusual

G4 450 - forget it's pet name, a generation after sawtooth - with an OWC 1200 mhz processor upgrade and 1.25 GB RAM running OS 9.2.1

I rolled back from OS 9.2.2 because I read (here, I think) that Scope may like 9.2.1 better and I used to have some problems in 9.2.2

thanks again

Macos9.2.1>DP>SCOPE>sudden clicks and pops - unusual

Greetings EXPERTS -

After years of running this rig successfully, suddenly out of nowhere I am getting clicks and pops in the audio when recording. Whether streaming in thru ADAT, or - most dreaded - when processing audio tracks (or track) thru SCOPE effects and recording back into Digital ...

good news - I finally got a response from Sonice Core - Ralf Bach, he sent me a new key called Scope.rgy that has all my software keys and it ll seems to be working fine. Apparently the .oxe files are free to use, which is wonderful. Evidently anything called allkeys is out of date (my own ...

Hi Tom

thanks for your reply and input

I wish it were true, but after loading my allkeys file I do not have Optimaster, the graphic EQ, Masterverb, etc

But I did have them before this debacle - which means that they probably exist in the Creamware folder that I dragged and dropped to another HD ...

I just searched Manually thru the Scope Install disc - no CrossCev.dII

it must be an extension that is created during the install process.

I do not imagine it is very big - if anyone feels up to it, has CrossDev.dII in their extensions folder, and is will to email it to me - here is the address ...

Thank you guys for all of your input, the situation is more clear to me now. This is the 1st time I have ever tried reinstall with the OWC upgraded processor, so maybe that is it.

My machine is a G4 466 upgraded to a.1.2 Ghz with an OWC processor. 1.5 Gig RAM

In any event, it sounds like one could ...
