Just wondering if anyone else has this problem....
I've been mixing down a track the past few days, and whenever I save, close, then restart all my MIDI levels have changed. Not alot but enough to need remixing. I close down and think, 'I'll have a listen in the morning' then whoa, did I do that?! It's very annoying, especially as it's not an easy mix.
I'm using SFP and SX.
Ricardo,
I use 3.0 and Cubase 5.1, so I can't be specific, but I can offer a tip:
In cubase create a 2 bar part at the start of each midi track. Perhaps start your music at bar 5 (press CTRL + A to select all your curent parts and move them along a bit).
In each of the 2 bar "setup" parts, put in the controller values for volume, pan position, cut off freq, resonance etc and any other controller codes that you may be using (use list edit and stagger the input so that you don't get midi choke) Also, make each of the midi channels (right hand column) the same as the device number (not essential but a tidy mind...).
Cubase can seek to the start of a song when you press play, thus ensuring that your mix is always correct when beginning to play.
As the song progresses you may wish to input additional controller changes obviously, but whenever you load a project/cubase and start the song, your setup parts will always give you the initial mix settings.
Hope that helps a little bit.

Don't forget that your Pulsar synths need to have, for instance, the volume controller set to accept midi controller commands - see the manual or continue the thread if you can't get it working.
Glad to have been of service
And continuing from a recent thread elsewhere, well done for letting everyone know that it worked. It'll help the next person with the same problem.
