Hello,

I hope this isn't too dumb a question, but I just bought another Pulsar 2 card today and I see that the insatallation disc is version 3.1c. I assume (I hope) it is the full version and not an update. It is just that I see in the download page that to install version 3.1c , 3.1a or b has to be installed first.
Now, don't laugh, but believe it or not, I still run version 2.4a on my other PC ( I have 2 PCs running Pulsar). So could I update my 2.4 version to 3.1 a using the CD I got from my new Pulsar card. If so do I need to uninstall drivers or stuff or will it just overwrite them?

Thanks in advance for your response.

the cd is the full install.i seem to remember that yes,you do need to install the new card drivers first when going to sfp.go to pulsar(or whatever cw card you have as the first card) and update drivers on the driver page in control panel/device manager/multimedia.the new driver is on the cd.then install sfp.

they'll be written over if you do update the driver, but if you want to be more sure, delete your cards from the device manager, delete the driver file and start over.i think the instructions are on the cw website on the same page as the 3.1c download.(check the v3xx readmes)
