XP detects Pulsar Plus but will not accept driver off cd

I hope someone can help me with this...

Windows XP detects Pulsar Plus but does not load the driver off the cd. I have tried several ways to do this with no success.

Question: What is the driver(s) XP needs for Pulsar Plus to fuction?

I've installed Pulsar software but there is still not device listed under audio,video and game controllers.

Frustrated... thanks in advance...

What version software did you install? Make sure you install first 3.1a, then 3.1c as an update.

ftp://download.creamware.de has both 3.1a & 3.1c.
The XP driver is in disk:/SFP/Driver/Win2k.

Do not install SFP under 'Program Files', it needs a simple path without spaces.

Hmm.. why's that? I've installed mine into 'd:program filessfp' and seems to work ok.

Installation manual p38:

Do not include any blank spaces in the directory name!

When the driver is not installed, your CW cards should still show up as new multimedia hardware in the device manager. Now when you run the SFP 3.1a installer, you will be presented with an "install driver" dialog, after which you have to restart. Then the installation continues with the rest of the software. When you run the 3.1c updater it will give you the same thing since this contains updated drivers.
I don't think you can have installed the software without the drivers. The installation won't continue if the driver isn't installed first.
