this is strange, if I load the Wave Dest in a project, the Sound Controll Panel/Output shows nothing but 'Creamware Out LR 0',

This means there is no sound thrutput from the soundmanager to my CW card.
In the past this worked very well.

What's strange specially is the fact that a loaded Wave Dest immediately shows up in the sound panel/input, saying 'SndMan Dest 2 chan'.

I didn't check this but I assume I could lead the Pulsar sound to the soundmanager.
However, of course, I'm interested in the opposite!
Can anybody see if he can get the Wave Source1 be seen by the sound panel's output?
I'm on OS9.2, if this is relevant here.
Anybody?

BTW a loaded 24bit Wave Dest makes the sound panel's input see 4 channels, which is impossible...?
It's the way the 24 bit part is taken into account I guess.

BUMP
no one who could try this?
just loading the Wave Source module in a project, then checking the Sound panel (of MacOS 9.x) if the driver is 'seen' in the panel's window...

right now, i'm in the internet partition: still 9.1 and pulsar2.04, and there it just says 'creamware output device'.

i'll check later with os9.2.2 and sfp3.1c

Hi Borg, thanks for checking out!
Please check also if it says also '2', meaning the number of channels actually loaded in the CW project?
Coz with me the panel also shows 'Creamware Out LR 0', with the zero all the time.

Are all other mac users on holyday?

well, in 9.2.2 and 3.1c, i get the same as you described, just creamware out l/R0, nomather how many modules are loaded

not that it means anything to me
i have just made some basic connections in 2.04 to listen to analog input, mp3's and net content when browsing, and that works ok and is enough for my needs.
i just get these crashes whenever i run real player after i listened to iTunes first (it works, but if i go back to iTunes, the machine hangs).

Well, it's the same here. Have to say it's probably an old bug that no-one's noticed before as i don't think anyone uses it, i certainly never have till you mentioned it. As the next SFP version will probably be for OSX this will probably never get fixed for OS9.

Thanks Borg and Arkadin, it's good to know that it's not me or my system.
It's a pity, coz, say you wanne record a realplayer stream you now have to lead the signal via the analog out back to the analog-in or via the a AD convertor.
I even tried the old 'Sound Manager Source', but it doesn't make any difference.
I'm gonne email CW about this bug, would be nice if you would do the same
Thanks alot, cheerz

PS I think I don't have your type of crashes Borg, but I will check it out soon.
