1. Native Complete Collection
Summer's here and studio temperatures are rising:
wouldn't you like to pack up your whole studio and
take it outside, or just somewhere cooler? Native
Instruments is offering a sensational package for
all musicians and producers who want to switch to
the ultra-light, ultra-portable world of software
synthesis. The NI Complete Collection includes all
our software programmes in one box for only
999 dollars/euros: you get 10 powerful music production
tools at a savings of around 65% off list price.
The offer is only good to the first 100 customers to
order it from Native Instruments and is available now,
exclusively in the NI Online Shop.

2. New User Library
REAKTOR users have probably already heard: With the
recent release of REAKTOR 4 and REAKTOR SESSION comes
the launch of the completely redesigned User Library.
The new version brings countless new features and
improvements, including expanded categories and search
options, new upload features for creators like
screenshot and demo uploads, user comments, ratings,
rankings and much more.

3. Tech Talk: Linkin Park
Tech Talk features online interviews with a wide
variety of well-known NI users. We recently spoke
with Linkin Park vocalist Mike Shinoda about the
band's success, their new album "Meteora" and what
they like about using Native Instruments software.
Visit the Tech Talk page for a complete listing of
NI interviews.

4. REAKTOR SESSION FAQ
Wondering which is a better match for you, REAKTOR
SESSION or REAKTOR 4? Want to learn more about the
User Library? Curious about granular re-synthesis?
In the new REAKTOR SESSION FAQ section on the NI
website you'll find answers to these and other
common questions regarding the youngest member of
the REAKTOR family, REAKTOR SESSION.

5. NI Forum News
The Online Forums have been very active lately:
on May 15th 2003 a new record was set for most
Forum users online at one time! There have been
some changes made in order to accommodate the
growing community: a new Forum for VOKATOR, a Forum
for REAKTOR SESSION, and User Library sub-forums for
creators (under REAKTOR) and users (under REAKTOR
SESSION). A special Forum has also been set up for
discussing NI products in German.

6. NI @ Sonar 2003
In 2003 the world's biggest festival for progressive
electronic art, media and music celebrates its 10th
anniversary in Barcelona from June 12th-14th. Native
Instruments will be there with the latest
installment in the Native Lab club event series, this
time around featuring Phoenecia from Miami and
Errorsmith from Berlin. In addition, resident REAKTOR
expert Jake Mandell will be presenting the 4th
generation of NI's modular sound studio on Saturday
afternoon and Christian Varela will rock a special
TRAKTOR Final Scratch DJ set.

7. The Sound of VOKATOR
A special sound player has been set up for anyone
who still hasn't heard NI's new vocoding instrument
in action. Check our home page and throughout the
site for a VOKATOR sound examples player with a
variety of demos, from processed vocals to vocoded
drum loops and powerful synth lines. The demo
version will be available soon.

8. Server Upgrade
Thanks for stopping by! The number of visitors to
the NI website has risen dramatically in the past
months, which unfortunately slowed down access to
our online services. In response we've now rigged
up a powerful new server farm to accommodate the
new traffic levels! Besides making the NI website
a whole lot faster for surfing, it will also enhance
our upload/download services, such as the User
Library, online updates, special downloads and more.

9. What's Next?
Two brand-new products from NI will soon run into
production: KOMPAKT, the streamlined software
sampler, comes packed with more than 200 sample
instruments from EASTWEST and ZERO-G, multi-format
import, and many sound shaping options. ABSYNTH 2
is equipped with powerful new features like sampling
and granular sampling, waveform libraries, sync to
tempo, and much more.

In addition NI will be releasing several updates in
the coming months that will make almost all NI
products compatible with Mac OS X (stand-alone,
Audio Units, RTAS, VST 2.0) and RTAS (Win XP and
Mac OS X).
