Hi all,

Last week I oreded a Pulsar II to join my Luna II and Powersampler, in the meantime I was thinking:

Would it be possible to connect my minidisc recorder to Pulsar's ADAT connectors, if use two optical leads ?

Thanks in advance
Ronald

Yes. PulsarII's optical connectors can be switched between adat and sp-dif mode.

Hello!

I am asking just for curiosity. How do you do that? How do you switch to SPDIF mode? Which modules do you load in the project window?

Thank you

Thank you hubird! I didnt know that!

I have heard by many people that slaving SFP to SPDIF is (sometimes) problematic. Does that apply to the SPDIF RCA connection only or to the optical one too?

Thank you

a year or two ago I sometimes used my DAT recorder (which has broken now).
The optical out, after activating the DAT recorder, forced SFP to slave mode, and everything did funktion as it should.
