thank god that i read this thread before trying the demo, otherwise, i would have had hearing damage.

As it is, I had trouble getting a good sense of what some of the patches could do because the "ping" is so loud. I couldn't get many of them to a listenable level without pain.

I understand the need to protect a commercial plugin, but this is a little extreme. The developer could turn down the ping quite a lot, and still have the plugin protected from "real-world" use. And how about a ping frequency that's NOT designed to induce high-frequency hearing loss.

I bought the plugin, since it seems to be the most robust amp modeler for the SCOPE platform, but I think that the developer would sell a LOT more if the demo were actually listenable.

I totally agree with you SEVENSTRING.

Anyway this device is the best I found for basses.
I've bought it few days ago, good job.

And remember instead of a loud beep for protection, think about a volume cut or something ...thanks

well.. I can see there are not many guitar players here.
First of all the demo is the biggest cinical joke I've ever seen with those high freq beeps. you need to be deaf to be able to test it.
Second, if you are strong enough to stand the torture of those beeps you realise that the next month of tinitus was just not worth it.
The developers went crazy with the "Amplifier+distortion" module without bothering to shape the digital crap that comes out of those modules.
As a pro guitarist I wouldn't use that device even if they payed me for it!
And to the developers... can YOU stand those f*****g beeps you morons?

That is true, i am not a guitar player, I use this effect on bass drums (what I called basses) for my jungle tracks, and love it because it has so different sounding capabilities from soft to really really dirty distortion (I love dirty).

I can not judge the real quality on a real guitar instrument, now after reading the last topics I'm sure that CELMO is more accurate for guitar purposes.

Hmm. Been testing some of the high-gain tones. I think people should give this one another try. That beep sure is annoying, but you could compress the life out of the output and be somewhat fine.

Not sure if I want to buy this yet though.

I was interested in it, but it never got the SFP3-style preset lists. I don't use the old devices at all.
