Hello!

Finally I've upgraded to 3.1c and immediately got a problem. I use mainly STM 1632 mixer in my projects. When I open projects created before upgrade it appears that STM does not work, i.e. the master section of mixer seems inactive, level meter doesn't move (stays at -138 dB) and there's no sound from mix outputs.
Channel level meters show normal behavior.
If I create a new project with STM1632 or simply add a new instance of the same mixer everything is OK.
My projects use many insert effects, and rewiring them with new/another mixer is great pain.
Does anybody know what can be done to work around this situation?

TIA

Rename your stm1632.dev file to something else, reload project, they will try to find the mixer any not finding it will ask you were it is, then point to the renamed one... This will force the reloading of the new mixer... i think this is what i've done, cuz the same thing happened to me also. I hope i remember well.

Unfortunately I can't do that because I've installed 3.1c upon my old 3.1a installation.

Yes you still can do... Point it to the same device, it is just for the project to reload the thing

Sorry, I didn't catch for the first time.
I've tried the trick you suggested, but unfortunately it didn't help.
The only way was to save mixer preset and reload STM1632 completely.
But trying to do so i've found another problem: I lost ability to rename presets after upgrading to 3.1c. It applies not only to STM, but ALL the SFP devices. When I first save preset or try to rename it, a sort of software exception happens displaying the text about '.. method not found' or something. Is it curable?

TIA

Hm.... strange.

Try this:
-select the preset
-press F2
-type the new name
-press Enter

Still getting errors?

OK, F2 works (thank you).
But when I'm saving preset and being asked about 'overwrite or save as new?' and say 'no' for 'new', I still get message:
'method NewPresetCreated not found'.
Maybe my installation is somehow broken?
I did all installations according to readme.txt's and all upgrade archives were
unpacked with no problems.
Do you know how to correct this behavior?
Thanks

Write to CW's support, cos they can know the reason for this. I never encountered it. Does it happen on all preset lists, or only on the preset list from STM1632? What if you rename the preset list in explorer and make a new one? If that fixes it, try importing a file in the right preset list, and transfer them to left?

Not offering a fix here, just some thoughts on different causes for the error.

On all 'complex' preset lists. IE not on simple lists found in third party devices.

Unfortunately CW does not do support for 3.1c - it's written on download page.
