It was written on an Ensoniq EPS and squeezed into (if I recall correctly) 2Mb of onboard RAM and using the onboard sequencer. The drums were played "live" by hand on the EPS onto several long tracks.

How technology has changed in these few short years !

If you're offended by bad language don't listen to it. But it is meant as fun, which will be obvious if you have a listen.

This song completely ignores copyright and samples freely from all sorts of movies (although all the music is original). Maybe you can pick some of the movies ?

On the back of the record sleeve we (my partner & I) slagged off and rubbished our own song quoting bogus reviews and giving completely wrong information about just about everything to do with the record including information about tours, remixes, and TV appearances.

The favourite "review" quote we made up and put on the sleeve was "The musical equivalent of taking a shit in the street".

ah! you guys were rich... 2 megs of ram on the EPS meant you had the 4X memory extention i think. Reminded me of old stuggles we had with this machine. thx for this, i can recognise some of the sounds from the machine... good old days

indeed, the old days (i started (and still use it as keyb) with the Emax II. 2Mb, 16 track real time sequencer and a keyboard. connected to a guitar FX and amp... but boy, did i have fun!)

this kind of music is quite popular on local 'alternative' radio stations these days. the eighties sound is definitely back.
is that the reason that i like it? i don't know... but, at the moment

, this track sounds pretty cool to me.
sometimes you need to look what's hiding under the dust on those shelves...
