What is the best modular II patches?

Can anyone tell me what you think are the best patches to the Modular II.
There are so many patches around, and I have decide to only have the best on my computer. I prefer having 5 patches with wonderful sounds, rather then having 100 patches with fairly sounds.
I have listen to the mp3 demos (vol. 1, 2 and 3) of Morpheus, and I think they are the best one so far.
I have only listen to some of the patches in Modular II that I´ve got when I bought my Pulsar II, but I don´t know. Morpheus is better in my opinion!
I know this is a question of what music genre you´re into, and for me it´s techno/trance.
I already have a Access Virus Indigo synth and the software program Reason 2, both with very powerful sounds.
So Modular II will only be as a complement synth for me, as the rest of the synths I have to Pulsar!

So, please help me out here!
Tell me what you think is the top-3 patches to Modular and I will try them out

Hi Bjorn,
It's quite a hard task to pick 3 out of so many but with the music that you have created over the years and the direction that it is now going in perhaps the following may add some dimensions:
1. Montybass 2 - I've just been using this and it would probably add some nice thick, but crisp bottom end.
2. Pad Machine - Nice fillers for your quieter sections - although I'm not sure if the delays clock to midi
3. The leads that your Lagoona team-mate Andreas has uploaded?

Well... I think it's a good way to talk about what people use the Modular for. If this discussion hadn't started I would probably never tried the Montybass - which is _really_ cool. Simle but great.

i see your point Carl
but downloading and trying (briefly) most patches posted won't take more than few evenings... this is not nord modular with thousands of patches available
you can sort forum by number of views and replays if you want a clue where to start.

OTOH my answer to question about best patches would be that my own patches are best

i made them, i know exactly how to tweak them.
Most inpiring and educating i find patches by Ken, Alfonso and all work of Defex (his synths are pretty clever designs too

)

that is my own subjective view of course

True... and that's why I have some problems with creating my own patches (with existing structures) with the modular - I have no clue of what they actually do...

A real luxury problem, I know...

thanks for all your replys. I have test some of them and they sounds great, and I will test the rest later this week

Michu... I´m not lazy. I just wanted to know what You think is the best patches around to Modular II. I have tested alot patches and I keep doing that. There are some really good ones.

I resently found this page(http://bwmodular.crosswinds.net/index.htm) in my interest, so I will now have alot time spending here

Glad you find the page useful - I'll be bringing the list of M2 patches up to date this week (there's a few recent ones not yet added.) You'll find that <a href="http://www.modularsynth.co.uk" target="_blank">www.modularsynth.co.uk</a> will take you to the same place - that URL might be a bit easier to remember

If you're into dance music you should definitley try the SAW 16 by DeFex.
