Anyone runnig two pc's with creamware cards who's using Steinberg's vst systemlink?
What way should the projects look when trying to connect over adat?
Any help is welomed!
How to set up 2 pcs (cw equipped) for vst systemlink.
i don't know what is steinberg systemlink, but i tried to use 2 computers together just for fun and to see how will work.
first computer had two pulsars cards while the second comp. had some teratec with 8 analog outs.
i opened cubase in both computers.
midi conection was: keyboard to firstcomputer (with cw cards) and midi out from pulsar to second computer.
on this way i was able to play pulsar's instruments from first computer, giga studio from second and vst instruments from both in the same time 100% synchronised.
8 audio outs from teratec i conected to adat and from adat with optical cable to pulsar.
in pulsar's project i add adat source and connect to pulsar's mixer.
on this way i had all sources from both computers in pulsar's mixer.

I think so, since Steinberg recommends adat over s/pdif....
from Steinberg: "VST System Link, a new protocol for interconnecting multiple computers
by way of standard digital audio cables and formats such as ADAT, TDIF, AES "
