I'm having heavy audio Pops and clicks as soon as I playback a couple of audio channels (more than 3) in Cubase. Disk activity is very small and CPU activity is not even half way in the performance meter of VST. Also pulsar activity is not driven to it's limits. I don't have the problem with midi channels.

I'm using a Pulsar 1 board (software 3.1C) as well in XTC mode as in normal mode. As a sequencer I use Cubase SX (and formerly other versions). In time I also switched my computer but the problem remained. At this moment I have a P4-1,8MHz with XP. I experimented with buffer sizes, latency settings, and any setting I could find.
Give me a solution, fellows!

Hi Paulv. Try running SX in HighPriority and SFP in LowPriority.
You can set the priority of a running application with the Task Manager (ctrl+shift+esc), right click sfp.exe, SX.exe and set priorities.
Hope this helps, it made a big improvement for me.

Also, play around w Cubase's buffer settings, while keeping an eye on Permormance meter. This could make your Cubase run less spungy too.
