Alesis ADAT XT to PULSAR 1? PLEASE HELP!???

Hello all,

i have rented an ADAT machine(expensive) to
record some music from a 8 track reel to reel deck to my pulsar 1. I rented an ADAT to use as the interface to run 8 outs of the reel to reel thru the ADAT, digital out of the ADAT to the ADAT in(digital in) in of the pulsar card. I seem to get a sync of the sampler rate, but no audio??????

how do i hook up and Alesis ADAT XT to a Pulsar 1 card?

I am recording a band and need to figure this out.

Please help!

really basic - hook the ADAT out from the ADAT to the ADAT in on Pulsar. Pulsar likes to be master. in pulsar, hook your ADAT source module to your recording app. record. done.

make sure the samplerates are the same and the frequencies are the same.

... and don't forget to set the ADAT XT clock to the correct samplerate - and if using Pulsar as master (the usual way) you have to put the clock select button (to the right) on the ADAT to Dig (not Int) and then of cource the Pulsar to the samplerate as the ADAT tape you're using (44.1 or 48).

I also found out that you have to use the "bigmixer"

i tried to use the digital signal thru the dynamixer with no luck.
