Greetings,

Let me first thank Mr. Hummel for allowing us the opportunity to test out his awesome devices. He truly is a genius at his craft...and I wholeheartedly believe that Creamware (and all of us) should dump a load of cash on him for his work.

Here's my problem: I can't seem to get the Ringmod Control LFO to sync to the Midi Clock. When I first import the Transplanet into my project, if I set the control option to "M clock" and turn the "ring" and "dry" knobs to the full-right postion for both "left" and "right", I get a good, audible modulation (which, unfortunately, isn't in sync with my song). However, when I connect my Sequencer Midi Source 1 to the Midi input, the modulation disappears. As a matter of fact, I can't get the modulation back by simply removing the connection...I have to reload the Transfusion.

I'm trying to get kind of square-wave on-off effect...and I was hoping to get it in time to the beat (the song that I'm working on is 128 BPM). Setting the Ringmod Control Option to "Keyboard" appears to work, although I'm unsure what parameter on my Korg Triton changes this. Setting it to "Direct" also works, but it's next to impossible to get the knob set to the right frequency.

I have the Internal MIDI clock set to 128...but that doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Ringmod control. The reason that I say this is if I set the Ringmod Control Option to "M Clock" and click on the option to use the Internal MIDI Clock, frequency of the modulation is unaffected whether I increase or decrease the BPMs.

I'm sorry for the jumbled mess of a plea for guidance...I've been wrestling with this problem for 4 1/2 hours straight, and it's almost 6 AM in Vegas...

Again, I wouldn't be so passionate about trying to figure out how to solve this mystery if Stephen Hummel hadn't have made such an amazing-sound tool. Thanks again.

Peace to all.

Hey all,

I think I've come up with a workaround. I've been using Neutron's Dub-a-Duck, and it works just fine. As a matter of fact, it imparts a level of control that I probably wouldn't have been able to get with a Square-Wave gate-type effect. Kudos to his great work as well.
