Using the above, upgraded from Pulsar 3.01.
When I installed SFP 3.1 it told that the XTC stuff was installed (selecting the pulsar option) and indeed, an XTC directory appeared. Started Cubase and when I try to assing a Pulsar plugin to the VST instruments panel, I get a "plugin not installed" message. If I stop SFP 3.1 and do the same, it seems to work, although it warns me that "XTC accelerator is not available for Pulsar"; I get no sound of out the plug-in... Re-start sfp and get the same message...
What could be wrong ? XTC is enabled in SFP and I guess the fact the the install put the XTC directory in the plug-ins directory tells me that it should work... Do I have to install sfp as pulsar XTC ? I don't want to do that, because it looks like less stuff is installed that way... the driver is the one for pulsar, all of this in Windows ME.. it used to work just fine with Pulsar 3.01.

In SFP, you can/have to edit the XTC project in SFP, the changes in Cubase's settings have no effect. Be sure to backup your XTC project before experimenting with it.

No, not the plugins, but rather the I/O setup. However I do not know exactly know how to do it, but let your initial XTC project guide you, give you some understanding.

As you'll see, the Merge 'device' interconnects ASIO In & Out, the Directplay Container goes to a hardware output I think.
You can route Hardware and Sequencer Midi Source/Dest's.

Do not forget, in XP for Cubase to recognise CW Midi ports, the project must contain the amount of Seq Source/Dests as in the Device MAnager is assigned.

Good luck...
