I've been getting these annoying errors for a while and have never managed to really get my head around why this happens in DP and not SFP recently...

If I try to assign a MIDI controlller number...say 23 to one of the knobs of my new device i get an error "PepAddrouting error...cannot route MIDI cntrl #23 val 7 already connected!" and then the knob becomes disconnected from the cct and I have to reassign it etc...big pain.

thing is, if I try the same device in SFP, no problems? I just can't find a reason for this pad wise... Any similar experiences?
cheers

are you using the new xtc compatible knobs and faders. the ones with only a val pad?

I'm using custom graphic knobs based on the original core designs from Scope DP V1 but I"ve also tried the new ones from the XTC pack to no avail...
