If I use the ControlRoom device to generate a sine and send it on S/PDIF on my Pulsar 2 to a Behringer DDX-3216 digital mixer I get a tone which shifts between two frequencies with about a 2 second interval on each tone.

I have set Pulsar to be Slave - if I don't I will get crackling sound and I can still hear the frequency shift. Also, there will be no sound coming on the S/PDIF input if Pulsar is not made Slave to the mixer.

I have verified that signal is correct when sending it out on the Pulsar analog out and by recording the signal.

Does anyone know what might be the problem? SFP bug or is it just me who needs a lesson in S/PDIF setups?

I crawled to the cross on the Creamware forum so I might as well do it here too.

Problem was I had not checked my FX sends thoroughly enough and had a chorus affecting the signal.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.
