I have been unable to save Midi controller numbers for the ST2448 Channel Faders (they can be assigned ok!). Is this a bug?
Can anyone explain what is meant on page 5 of the STM 2448/4896 chapter "...Midi control numbers are not assigned directly to the selected onscreen faders or controls on the channel page. Instead, a fader or control on a particular channel page is bound internally to its respective channel number".

Same here. Can assign and even recall CC# fromm remote preset. But the faders don't follow the CC# I send them.

I guess that just means that CC# are coupled to internal controls, just like the faders on the Mixer GUI are: mirrors of the original (ie. volume ch1) control inside the mixer. Don't know what we need to know such a thing for, should not make any difference for the end-user...
