Manual on STM 1632 says that it´s possible to load devices directly into the device-loader on top of each channel. But there comes no chooselist like in the Lifebar. Drag&drop from the filebrowser failes with "Exceptional". Is this a bug? (WIN 98 SE)

I donno, mine is working, directly on a channel strip i can right click an insert a device. Even, is it a mono channel and i try to insert a stereo devices, the channel switch automaticaly to stereo. A cool nice feature.

Maybe you didn't right click in the right place. I do get the list of devices.

Tanks but I´m right: when I rightclick at the devicename only "Disconnect" "Surfaces >" and "Hide" is shown. No devicelist! The IN-OUT list below works ok. Also Lifebar works. Strange isn´t it?

You must have the directory ..SFPDevicesEffects otherwise they won't show up in the Insert Menu in the mixers...

You can also insert Synth, but not in the same place... In the st,1632, on top of the slider, over the 4 aux button, there is 3 white rectangle, 2 that are side by side, and one under it...Right click in it, you should see a menu item called 'Load Devices'... This is where you can directly insert a synth in any channel for example...

It work, i use the stm1632, and it work...

The same kinda triad of rectangle appears on the lower part of the channel strip, but it's not the same thing. Use the on the higher part of the channel strip for this. You'll see that it work.

Thanks but noting helped me. I´ve made a komplete new-installation of WIN 98 SE, Pulsar2 Driver and SFP 3.1a.
The same effect as before. Sometimes it runs and when I reload the same project devicelist is gone again. Also sometimes I´m missing nearly all folders in the headline of the project window. Only Hardware I/O and Software I/O is listed. I tried to set a momentarily running cset.ini to write protect. That helped me a bit. But that´s not the right solution. Can there be a defect on my setup-CD?

Sorry, I made the mistake!
I had a setup-folder inside SFP and my searchoptions in SFP! So sometimes there were no devices found anyway!
